Inspired by a traditional Brazilian upbringing, Nivaldo has worked as a designer and craftsman for most of his life. He left Brazil when he was 18 and travelled the world. It was whilst living Paris that Nivaldo began to work with leather.
Finally settling on the island of Mallorca, he continued to develop his craft. He built himself a studio and opened a small shop selling leather clothing and bags.
In 2002 he met Louise, who was working as a photographer in London. She brought a new vision to Nivaldo’s world.
Together they formed a partnership, combining earthy function and loving craftsmanship with a good dose of urban chic.
Starting with bags and accessories, Nivaldo and Louise always felt that they would like to develop the brand further. The range now includes one off pieces of furniture and small objects for the home.
They also work on interior design projects and special commissions.
Nivaldo and Louise share their time between London, Mallorca and Brazil, where they’re currently working on a project to create a new home.
